Please look into RFK Jr. Watch his interview with Dr.Phil he may be a breath of fresh air in this election. Yes, I understand that third party candidates have never done well, however we the people can change that! Give it a look, and really listen to what he says!
Colleen, thanks for your comment. I am familiar with Kennedy, his growth over the years, and have two of his books on Fauci and vaccines. Given current options I would consider him my optimal choice.
Chris, I concur with your assessment. I too realized years ago that the same folks running the show also run both major political parties. And I have no devotion to past president but may be with the exception of FDR, who dared to call out his peer group--welcoming their hatred by going against their being "financial royalists." Now we are making upcoming U.S. presidents Kings via yesterday's SCOTUS ruling on immunity! So our country has shifted back to pre-American Revolutionary days with dystopia at our doorstep. I don't know some days whether to laugh or cry at this outrageous devolution. But I am a true believer that to save one's soul, well, meditation and one's ability to not grasp illusions of truth are necessary in order to give meaning to one's life and to the lives around us too. So being a good influencer, despite people's reactions who are mostly adhering to a status quo that's destructive. Thanks again for your good insights that I share. Joan
Yes it has been laid bare the extent to which the machinations will go to feed the military industrial complex / Oligarchy / Corporatacracy with 100,000 dead and wounded and millions traumatized beyond healing of mostly innocents. It’s unbearable to be paying for this without affecting the flow of dollars. Almost impossible to detach from the horror of my dollars. I know Earthmother said to not watch or waste our empathies but I would be worse than the IDF and Hamas to look away. I too hope for Kennedy’s advancement. He had his own debate you can watch. It is beautiful how we are not accepting the elites puppets entirely.
I always appreciate your perspectives and look forward to reading more!
This will be my first time not voting for the Democrat, and I'm not cheering for the red team either. Many of us were fooled, I might suggest, by the calm and optimistic characters of candidates like Reagan and Clinton and Obama who nonetheless quietly advanced the interests of the unelected bureaucracy. They aren't fooling us anymore with either of these guys.
Next month will be as close as I come to a political post on the Dendroica Project, tentatively called "The View from Outside."
Thanks. A deeper dive into Obama was the linch pin for me in uncoupling from the Democrats. The difference between his carefully crafted public persona and the truth of his actions was a chasm I had to face. Moving through disbelief is a challenging process, but one gets past it and emerges out the other side more awake and aware.
Thank you for devoting your obvious writing gifts to this time and this topic! I enjoyed the clarity and found myself nodding along as I read it.

Good for you! I never bought the Obama facade. One friend called him the Manchurian Candidate!
Well done, Chris!
